Job Responsibilities

Project : Internal ( Working as McAfee administrator )

Manage and maintain 70K + endpoints security across the organization along with 60+ repository servers from 30+ remote locations on globe

Provide L2/L3 Support for Mcafee EPO, VSE, EEPC, HIPS, DLP and its associated products as a primary administrator.

Key member in AV migration project of antivirus product for entire organization for around 70K clients across multiple offices on globe. ( From multiple antivirus products to McAfee Antivirus migration)

Deploy and operate the end-point security tools and solutions McAfee VSE, EEPC, HIPS etc..

Implements appropriate corrective action against security incidents

Generate compliance reports for DAT signature installation status based on required category and customer requirement

Create queries and generate reports according to client requirement

Create new policies for antivirus exclusions, test new policies on test group machine and deploy

Provide solutions to antivirus updates and issues on endpoints and help site engineers to troubleshoot and fix issue

Ensure latest DAT versions and engine version installed on all clients, if there is any lag, investigate the problem and fix

Create distributed repository servers for new sites and configure deployment and update tasks for the location

Perform analysis on threats, malware behavior when detected and submit to virus labs team for cure and prevention functionality, coordinate with vendor for extra dat or cure file and deploy them on to environment post proper testing

Alerting teams to perform preventive actions for any security breach in the network.

Monitor security levels using dashboards and report any suspicious behavior to respective team to take necessary action

Perform timely product upgrades like agent, VSE and others

Upgrade EPO versions as per vendor recommendations

Timely update of rules and policies in EPO which will be recommended by vendor

Manage Encryption installed machine and users from EPO console.

Apply require policies and configuration from EPO console whenever required.

Assist L1 team to Install and configure EEPC on end user machines and help on any challenges

Check user login issues to Preboot authentication, SSO and blue screen issues, activation issues on EEPC and apply corrective actions.

Coordinate with McAfee vendor to troubleshoot critical issues data recovery, EEPC login and preboot etc...

Perform encryption installed user data recovery using EETech and win PE CDs

Protects system resources and applications from vulnerabilities and malicious execution by managing HIPS from EPO console

Install HIPS on endpoints and monitor events, apply exclusion as per requirements

Update repositories and signature contents time to time from McAfee to prevent attacks from vulnerabilities.

Applying fixes to newly raised OS and Application vulnerabilities as per vendor recommendation

Attend regular internal and external audits as a SPOC for the service line and manage.

Ensure, servers, endpoints, system security applications and services in environment are securely configured and managed through operating appropriate security platforms and tools.

Provide performance and security statistics reports in daily weekly or monthly frequency or when needed
