Responsible for mechanical design of liquid filled transformers, specializing in load tap changing, voltage regulators, zig-zag grounding, high current furnace and rectifier duty units.

Generated preliminary design layout and drawing package based on customers' specifications and applicable industry standards. Calculated tank bracing, cooling requirements, pump and fan sizing, overload capabilities, conductor sizes, overall weights, shipping weights and center of gravity.

Created detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for formed steel components, structural steel members, sheet metal, piping, cable and bus bar runs, control and alarm circuits & wiring. 1993 – 1998 Eastern Electric Inc. - Phoenix, Arizona ENGINEERING DESIGN – ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT
