WORK EXPERIENCE:

10/13/2010 – 09/04/2015 Duties: Worked as a pharmacist in charge at Leadcare pharmacy, Dimension pharmacy, and Emmons pharmacy in Houston for more than four years. Dispensing for nursing home patients, long term care patients, general public, some compounding, calling on doctors to verify scripts making sure the right medication is dispensed, counseling patients on how to use their medications and possible side effects, typing scripts, running cash register, retrieving voice mails from doctors, placing orders to various vendors, updating daily and monthly inventories, making sure all controls are properly accounted for daily and secured, running insurances, doing paper work and supervising technicians making sure every aspect of pharmacy related job is done right.

09/04/2015 –PRESENT Duties: Presently working with a long term care pharmacy as a staff pharmacist in Emmons pharmacy in Houston for three years. Duties include initial and final reviews of scripts, blisters and vials making sure all are filled properly. Other duties include counseling, supervising technicians, taking phone call orders from doctors, doing transfers and other pharmacy related tasks. I am looking for a full time or part time position as a staff pharmacist and willing to work weekends and holidays.

08/18/2008- 08/08/2009 Did rotation at Walgreens, HEB, CVS, Harris county hospitals

and clinics including Ben Taub and LBJ as an intern.

Duties: Patient counseling, receiving and making transfers to other pharmacies and hospitals. Dispensing drugs, running cash register, typing scripts and attending to drive-thru customers.

ADDITIONAL DATA: Have working knowledge of handling patients at all levels. Possess excellent leadership and communication skills. Have demonstrated ability to plan, organize, coordinate and successfully accomplish operational assignments. Presently working with framework LTC software and have also worked with Best RX and Etreby soft wares.
