Oversee the shift operations of production and manufacturing of consumer and industrial packaging products, Including the printing, converting, gluing, finishing and packaging functions, while maintaining focus on producing a quality product to customer specification and satisfaction.
Accomplishments:
Implemented an electronic maintenance documentation program on facility assets. Created equipment specific forms that tracked routine, and non-routine maintenance procedures, assured that maintenance procedures were performed at scheduled intervals and pro-actively alerted of upcoming procedures.

Accomplishments:
Instrumental in the launch of a new state of the art digital printing press, successfully gaining press manufacturer compliments regarding the press installation and ramp-up to full commercialization as being one of the smoothest process and operator on-boarding they have experienced.
Successful transition to new DFE (digital front-end) software from old antiquated platform. Re-qualified
colors (inks) as process build and eliminated costly custom colors which equated to approximately 4 hours of downtime a week.
Successfully completed a very demanding and difficult customer audit elevating the company from a level 1 status to a more preferred level 2 status which qualified the division to bid on new business.

Digital Cell Leader supervising press operators, and the pre-press function of the department, working with a planner/scheduler in setting production priorities, insuring product meets customer on time delivery. Trained press operators on internal and external product standards, including customer specific requirements and expectations.
Responsible for all aspects of internal visual management including the creation of instructional and training materials to support operations and new business development, as well as marketing and sales initiatives.
Trained and developed new press operators, starting with print fundamentals, and providing the support to develop them into skilled operators.
Developed the pre-press production process flow, including the creation of standard work, department policies and procedures, and file management/protocol, trained and developed pre-press production artists.
Transitioned lower volume orders from flexographic to digital print process, which included the re-qualification of color targets, ink durability and substrate testing.
Created a tooling management system that is utilized in the maintenance, and tracking of existing rotary and flatbed tools. Designed all repeat rotary and flatbed dies, and was responsible for the purchasing function of tooling for the facility.
Designed outer carton packaging for functional automotive products.
Responsible for the creation of all web path diagrams for rotary and functional presses, instructional and training manuals, process flow diagrams, new product conceptual drawings, safety training and awareness materials.
Accomplishments:
Developed a successful process for a highly profitable, complex automotive application that ran through five different presses and utilized sequential barcoding. The project included the creation of a very visual and comprehensive standard work manual that is vital to the set-up and press production process, including repeatability of producing the product.
Created a series of over 20 different quality control manuals for a large durable goods customer, that were very visual with step by step details to ensure compliance to ridged customer specifications, and repeatability of the product. The manuals were instrumental in raising company status with customer.
