COAL HANDLING PLANT, NIGAHI (MADHYA PRADESH)- NORTHERN COAL FIELD LTD.

Worked as an Execution Engineer at Aditya Alumina Project, MHS Vizag project,CHP Rajpura project, CHP- Block-B & CHP-Nihahi Project & looked after Structural & Equipment Erection works.

RESPONSIBILITIES -

A. Structural Works – Executed Fabrication and erection of structure 3000 MT in cast house & pipe rack, Dross Treatment shop,, Silo (AHP) & Crusher House, drive house(CHP), raping loading system at silo (CHP)

1. Elaborate drawing study & BOM calculation.

2. Conducting tool box training regularly at site so that work can be completed within time frame.

3. Preparation of effective cutting plan at site for reducing scrap during fabrication.

4. Regular inspection in collaboration with QA/QC department to identify the areas of improvement.

5. Arranging Client inspection for passing the Structural Fabrication Bills.

6. Preparation of Daily Progress Report, Weekly & Monthly Plan as per front, drawing & material availability.

7. Quantity Surveying & BOQ preparation for Structural Works.

8. Reconciliation of Structural Steel consumed w.r.t. to the Overall executed quantity.

B. Structural & Equipment Works -

1. Handling the overall fabrication &erection activities of the cast house, drive house,transfer house, conveyors & silo structural works and installation as wel as alignment of drives, raping loading system equipment works.

2. Executed the overall structural works 3700 MT & equipment erection works around 1,000 MT .

3. Quantified the Overall structural fabrication & erection along with Schedule of respective system.

4. Preparation of BOQ for structural & equipment works including all Fittings with the aid of drawings.

5. Responsible for the Fit-up, Welding & client dealing of the structural works.

6. Arranging Client inspection for passing the respective Works done.

7. Subcontractor Bill preparation as per work done.

8. Followed standard work procedures for various testing activities and Quality Inspection by doing DPT & Radiographic Testing, as reqired.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

1. Ensured that there is no rework in the fabricated structures.

2. Installed & Commissioned the COAL HANDLING PALANT IN VIZAG SITE and other projects within scheduled time .

3. Conducted training program every month in fabrication area to improve Productivity & Quality of fabrication work.
