CURRENT WORKING COMPANY :

Working as a Fire and Safety In charge at Tata Realty and Infrastructure Limited (TRIL) in Chennai from august 2015 to till date .

Roles and Responsibilities:

Identify and work to eliminate workplace hazards, unsafe conditions and unsafe acts, to achieve injury free workplace area.

Ensures implementation of company HSE standards, policies, regulation, Permit to Work procedures and all safety procedures.

To ensure performing parties delivers daily tool box talk and that it is documented.

To inspect scaffolding and take appropriate corrective action for the deviations in scaffolding erection, dismantling, modification.

Conduct First day safety induction for new employees, visitor, subcontractors and workers.

Be responsible for leading or identifying mandatory training and informal training.

To display and maintain HSE posters/ sign boards in the designated area and update the HSE notice boards periodically.

Involved in many studies in the project phase such as HAZOP, HAZID and Contractor HSE meeting, Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis.

Be prepared to conduct the initial gas testing for a confined space entry.

Investigation of Accident/Incident and Near Miss and suggesting remedial measures to the Management to prevent recurrence.

Monitoring, Controlling and ensuring the Safe Lifting Procedures, the availability of competent person, Certification, Third party certifications, Inspection of Lifting gears, Tackles & it’s appropriate color coding for any critical and heavy lifting.

Monitoring environmental conditions (offshore- Wind speed and direction) frequently in order to carryout work safely.

Participate in all daily /weekly /monthly HSE meetings.

Monitor and advise that site safety equipment and firefighting systems are in place, operational and maintained.

Zero Accident/ Incident policy, Zero LTI, Encouraging all workers for achieving client project HSE objectives & target.

Conducting in-house practical training to the onboard site workers on the use of fire, safety & lifesaving and evacuation equipment & Implementing rescue operations and emergency response procedures.

Worked as a Graduate Apprentice trainee in Metropolitan Transport Corporation Chennai (A Tamil Nadu government undertaking) for a period of 1 year ( jan2014 to jan2015)

ACADEMICS PROJECTS :

Successfully completed the project at ROYAL ENFIELD (group of EICHER PVT LTD ) Chennai .

Project Title : Digital Fuel level indicator with mileage.

Abstract :

This project emphasizes on providing the essential information required for the driver during driving a vehicle.

Our objective is to calculate and indicate the remaining distance that the vehicle can travel with respect to the level of the fuel in the tank and mileage of the vehicle.

To achieve the objective of the project, the sensors are connected to programmed microcontroller which is interfaced with the LCD display unit to display parameters namely speed of the vehicle, fuel remaining in the tank, mileage obtained in the past liter consumed and the expected distance that can be travelled with the remaining amount of fuel.
