Project Experience Summary

PERSONAL PROJECT EXPERIENCE

DESCRIPTION : The idea was to provide a common platform to the homemaker and foodies. The homemaker can register the dishes they make the best and the foodies can order from the variety of such dishes.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES : I have developed the online server part of the application, which will be used to manage the foodies and the homemaker who will register to the application through mobile application. This part was developed using HTML, PHP and MySql.

TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES PROJECT EXPERIENCE

1.ORACLE APPLICATIONS ENHANCEMENT PROJECT

NOVEMBER 2011 TO SEPTEMBER 2012

DESCRIPTION : Scope of this project was to provide enhancements for the change requests raised by the business on the modules which are being used by users of UK General Insurance (UKGI) Employees.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a team leader, I was involved in modifing existing Concurrent Programs, Oracle reports, Interfaces, Sql reports, Host files etc.

Tracking project status on periodic basis, capturing metrics, keeping all senior members updated on the latest status of project.

Developing the Technical & Functional design documents using AIM methodologies- MD.050, MD.070, TE.020, etc

Involved in execution and development of UTP. Also involved in user support at the User Acceptance testing phase.

Reviewing the documents and codes for the Team members.

Involved in quality processes and best practices.

2.ORACLE APPS TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT PROJECT NOVEMBER 2007 TO SEPTEMBER 2010

DESCRIPTION : Scope of this project was to fix the ‘Assyst’ Requests raised by business user within SLA.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a module leader, I was involved in providing technical and functional support by resolving requests raised by users on AP, PO modules.

Customizing the existing components to resolve the issues and also guide the users a workaround to carry out their jobs until the permanent code changes are done.

Interacting with the clients through calls and Net-meetings to provide technical assistance and resolve issues on Oracle Internet Expenses and Procurement.

Providing generic fixes for frequently occurring issues which were greatly appreciated by the users.

3.ITOOLS (IMPLEMENTATION OF INTERNET EXPENSES AND INTERNET PROCUMENT MODULES) PROJECT

MARCH 2007 TO OCTOBER 2007

DESCRIPTION : Scope of the project was to deliver Internet Expenses and Internet Procurement functionality to Aviva Employees along with Payables and Purchasing for Payment.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Developer, I was involved in the Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing phases of this implementation project.

Involved in developing custom sql reports, discoverer views and interfaces.

Involved in coordinating with Oracle team to get fix/patches for critical issues.

Involved in execution and development of test cases in Unit & Integration testing phase.

4.AMEX DATA WAREHOUSE PROJECT

MARCH 2005 TO FEBRUARY 2007

DESCRIPTION :The application uses files from different AMEX Market Source, which are parsed using Informatica maps to store data into ADW system for the end users. In the first part of the project, both the Equity and Option part were developed by writing ETLs in PL/SQL. In the next stage the Equity portion was re developed with the help of Informatica 8.1.0.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a tester, I was involved in manually testing the ETLs and Informatica mappings.

As a developer, I was involved in development and unit testing of the components.
