methodology across the entire Trading DBA team primarily using
OEM Grid Control 12c supplemented by custom scripts based on
data-dictionary views.
Responsible for streamlining the Disaster Recovery strategy for critical applications based on the RTO (Recovery Time Objective) and RPO (Recovery Point Objective) requirements. Data Guard (physical standby) was implemented as a standard DR strategy and Goldengate replication was implemented in exceptional cases based on business requirements.
Brought on board to engineer a turnaround of extreme instability within the Global Wholesale Banking database infrastructure that was causing frequent disruption and downtime affecting large corporate clients and loss of business and credibility.
