Appointed to the national physician credentialing committee and primary care physician council, and served on opioid use and antibiotic stewardship sub-committees.

Interview, hire, train, and manage staff for Garland and Vickery Health Centers- Community Oriented Primary Care Clinics (COPC). Appointed the section chief of family practice within the COPC division (1995-2000).

Promoted to spearhead new division developing quality management for prenatal and obstetrical care with staff of four midwives. Successfully lowered infant morbidity and mortality, and lowered the cesarean rate from 20% to 12%. More than 80% of 200 annual deliveries entered prenatal care in the first trimester.
