As a Project Manager, I used BIM software, most notably PrefWeb and VistaVision, to provide detailed material quotes for clients in a timely manner. Duties included reviewing clients’ architectural drawings and takeoffs to get material specifications, and provide pricing; provide consultation, coordination, and assistance concerning safe and economic solutions for client concerns; and communicating with owners, architects, and contractors to maintain detailed and organized records of bid documents, and other project specific information.
