Design, construction and study of Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine (HAWT) –
Major Project
We have studied the various design parameters of horizontal axis wind
turbine like the design of aerofoil. Study the difference in efficiency
with the number of blades. We check the material properties by using new
material like, Nylon etc..
Design of Quad copter :- Mini Project
A Quad copter is a Flying machine having the ability to Hover at a single place for continuous long time. My task was to Design a mechanically balanced Frame with proper Landing Arrangement and to check the frame stability and durability.
Role: Frame Design in CATIA and Manufacture.
Extra-Curricular Activities
Secured 3rd Runner-up rank in Boeing National Aero-modeling
Competition held at IIT BOMBAY for Designing and flying
an RC Aircraft.
Participated in M-CAD a mechanical design competition Conducted in NIT
Warangal.
