Graduate Research Assistant/ Graduate Teaching Assistant:

Responsibilities/Projects:

Instructed Electricity and Magnetism laboratory to undergraduate students and performed PhD research projects and few smaller research projects. The main research projects are:

Developing Large Scale Synthesis of High Quality Boron Nitride Nanotubes by Chemical Vapor Deposition, a patent is filed in the University office for this development.

Synthesis of nanomaterials, characterization, processing, and Semiconductor Device (FETs device) fabrication in clean room environment, fabricated a Tunneling FETs device and tested its I-V behavior.

Fabrication of Graphene-BNNTs Heterojunctions by CVD and testing its I-V character.

Clean room experience: Substrate cleaning, Photoresist coating, UV-photolithography, wet etch, deposition, lift-off.

Maintained research lab equipment used in scientific and applied research.

Developed a new technique for the Quantification of cut BNNTs Suspension from a new hypothesis and a model from statistical approach.

Preparing reports, summarizing results, presentation, and draft journal papers.

Experience in using statistical software such as Origin, Excel for data analysis.

PRESENTATIONS AND PUBLICATIONS:

Oral presentation in the Materials Research Society Spring Meeting, San Francisco, CA and many oral and poster presentations at Department of Physics, Michigan Technological University, USA during PhD studies.

Published 6 Peer Reviewed Journal Papers including a book chapter in prestigious journals and few more papers are drafted during the PhD work.
