Troubleshooting:

Adept at diagnosing and isolating a variety of malfunctions to a component level in electrical instrumentation systems, Digital/Analog, radio frequency (RF), generator electrical systems, and control systems using appropriate test equipment including but not limited to:

Performing functional testing of RF receiver equipment found one faulty receiver (including LCD touch screen keypads). Replaced receiver for mission purposes and repaired damaged SMA connector on faulty receiver.

During normal operations of Satellite communication system observed low signal strength. While attempting to realign the dish antenna, found one of the alignment motors to be defective. Replaced motor and resumed normal operation.

While performing preventative maintenance of an Imagery Intelligence system found one of the HDDs in the RAID to be faulty. Replaced the HDD and rebuilt the RAID.

Performing corrective maintenance on a Signals Intelligence System using schematics and various test equipment found the microcontroller had an internal short. Replaced and reprogrammed the microcontroller.
