As a member of the Klockner Pentaplast leadership team, work directly with employees and managers to support the corporate commitment to workplace safety and continuous learning. Safety and Training Supervisor City of Charlottesville Virginia 2001 - 2015

Responsible for the design, development, implementation, coordination and presentation of a comprehensive safety program for the public works department for the city of Charlottesville. In addition, provided training in organizational development and safety for police, fire and rescue, construction contractors and vendors, and parks and recreation departments.

Successfully developed and implemented gas operator qualification program as demonstrated by superior ratings awarded by U.S. Department of Transportation.

Served as Assistant Flight Commander, responsible for actual and simulated flight training systems, in-flight operation and supervision of 15 rotary-wing instructor pilots and their assigned students. Prior to promotion to Assistant Flight Commander, served as Lead Instructor Pilot, providing instruction for Cobra contact and instrument phases.

Consistently maintained highest instructor pilot/student performance proficiencies and evaluations for the branch, at Ft. Rucker, Alabama. Total flight time exceeded more than 5,000 accident-free hours, with total pilot-in-command time exceeding 4,200 hours.
