Served as Assistant Flight Commander, responsible for actual and simulated flight training systems, in-flight operation and supervision of 15 rotary-wing instructor pilots and their assigned students. Prior to promotion to Assistant Flight Commander, served as Lead Instructor Pilot, providing instruction for Cobra contact and instrument phases.
Consistently maintained highest instructor pilot/student performance proficiencies and evaluations for the branch, at Ft. Rucker, Alabama. Total flight time exceeded more than 5,000 accident-free hours, with total pilot-in-command time exceeding 4,200 hours.
