§ Stock price analysis and reports – UK based client o Generated product price performance dashboards and reports having multiple hyperlinks to various reports using Open Document functionality

o Performed Admin-tasks like monitoring BO server running with optimal performance, monitored licenses, monitoring of user activities/ sessions etc.

o Modified the default session timeout for Infoview as the users complained about session timeouts frequently o Applied security features of Business Objects like row level, report level & object level security in the universe so as to make the sensitive data secure. Using CMC, defined row level security for the users belongs to different clients o Created complex reports by linking data from multiple data providers and functionalities like Drill Down, Master Detail, Custom Sorts etc.

o Extensive testing and migrating the reports or objects from development to Production system o Created different reports containing charts showing revenue and operating income by different divisions, market share of newspaper by circulation

o Created complex variables to fetch/display previous month data, breaks, sorts, filter and conditions for various reports. Also developed complex reports involving master/detail and cross-tab and combined queries and sub-queries o Extensively worked with sections, breaks, ranks, alerters, filters, prompts, variables and calculation contexts in designing reports

o Used @functions like @select, @where and @prompt function to create prompts which helps the user to select the values dynamically. o Generated ad-hoc webi reports as per client’s requirement based on time like previous year, month data. Also developed reports to display data whether DST is on or off

o Migrated BO XIR2 to Business Objects XI 3.0 environment using Import Wizard o Created Users/Groups, roles and assigned required rights to them. Implemented security at report level, folder level, Objects level by assigning rights and required access level as per user requirement. Migration of universe and reports from testing to production environment

o Experienced in creating Universes, resolving Loops, Traps and Testing the Universe o Wrote SQL queries and used those on the Universe and created as Derived Tables, Views using Designer. Also Linked the Universes to share the common components between each other o Changed the Infoview page layout by adding company details or company logo instead of the Business Objects logo by using the customization methods

o Used the Export option for the Reports to schedule them and sent the scheduled reports via Email, Text and Excel formats In a nut shell
