Oracle, Morrisville, NC, April 2013 TO March 2017:
Oracle purchased Tekelec in 2013. Supported the 3RD Party Server line with system layouts and wiring diagrams for racked systems. Assisted with the conversion of the Tekelec Pro-E drawings and Bills of Material for Printed Circuit Boards assemblies into Oracle’s Doc Control System Agile and Creo cad system for the transition of the Tekelec products into Oracle Product Operations and Manufacturing systems for offshore manufacturing. Managed End of life for all 3rd party products.
MECHANICAL ENGINEER 4:
TEKELEC, Morrisville, NC, January 1998 TO April 2013:
Responsible for sheet metal and plastic design, product support, documentation and testing for fit and function of telecom equipment to include UL and FCC approval. Designs include PC board mechanical outlines, assembly documentation, checking layouts, cable designs. Supported purchasing and manufacturing on cost reductions. Managed the third party mechanical group, which consisted of 3 mechanical engineers and we supported three different product lines. Managed EOL for servers, raid arrays and associated hardware used in the 3rd party product lines. Provided senior design support assistance to manufacturing, quality and purchasing in the day-to-day operations at Tekelec.
