EXPERIENCE
2007-2009, 1978-1986: Project Manager/Engineer- Terracon, Norton Company-St. Gobain, Wright Line, The Carlson Group.
Responsible for the construction project management of new office and manufacturing facilities. Duties included cost estimating, critical path scheduling, specification and contract preparation, design review, cost control, review and approval of changes to
plans and specifications, budget review, and subcontractor selection and management.
Consulted with senior executives and management staff in the
planning, design, and implementation of office building and industrial plant expansion projects. Acted as a liaison between corporate central engineering staff and design-build architectural, structural, and industrial engineering subcontractors.
Norton Company projects ranged in scope from $500,000 to $4 million. Norton Company (now St. Gobain) was a Fortune 500 manufacturing company. Projects included new manufacturing plant construction, plant renovations, foundation design and installation of new manufacturing equipment, and office renovations.
Carlson Group projects ranged in size from $2 million to $13 million. Duties included being a project manager for this design build company. Carlson was an ENR 100 design build firm. Projects included new manufacturing plant construction and office building construction. Clients included Fairchild Semiconductor, Cadbury Chocolate, Prime Computer, and General Motors.
Terracon duties included coordinating and conducting reviews of project documents and objectives with in-house consultants, client representatives, and contractors. Participated in periodic reviews of the project with respect to schedule, design, and construction cost. Prepared progress reports for company management and client’s representatives.

1976-1978
Performed civil engineering calculations for public work projects related to road design, water and sewer system construction and repair, and excavation projects. Other duties included writing specifications, estimating, code enforcement, and inspection of public work projects to ensure compliance with original plans and specifications.
