Present Data Analyst Aon Centre for Innovation and Analytics, Dublin
• I am a data analyst working in an agile environment. On my current scrum team we are using Jaspersoft, Alteryx and Tableau to deliver a self- serve analytics platform for colleagues. My main role in this project is to drive the adoption of the platform by building a repository of sample reports/dashboards/apps and providing technical training and support to colleagues.

Aug ’17 Graduate Data Analyst Aon Centre for Innovation and Analytics, Dublin
• During a twelve month graduate program I had the opportunity to rotate through various teams in ACIA, with tasks ranging from data analysis and reporting to business intelligence and visualization development.
• On a reporting team I created ad-hoc reports using SQL and Excel, and developed automated apps for standard reports using Alteryx.
• On a Bi/Vis. team I developed and maintained Tableau dashboards for our internal insights platform. I was also involved in an agile scrum team which developed the capability to localize our platform and Tableau dashboards. Jun ’15 -
Sep ’15 Data Analyst Intern Aon Centre for Innovation and Analytics, Dublin
• My primary project during this internship was introducing Alteryx into the ACIA and developing test cases of where it could be used to improve existing technologies and systems. This project team worked using agile methodology.
Education
2012 -
2016 BSc., Mathematical Science University College Cork Cork, Ireland
• Grade - First Year (2H1); Second Year (2H2); Third Year (2H2); Fourth Year
(2H2).
• Modules of Interest - Mathematical Analysis, Mathematical Modelling, Differential Equations, C/C++ with Numerical Techniques, Computational Techniques, Optimisation, Probability & Statistics Estimation, Hypothesis Testing, Stochastic Modelling, Time Series, Survival Analysis, Statistical Analysis.
Research
2016 Final Year Project
Applied Mathematics - Fluid Mechanics
Blood Flow in Arteries University College Cork
• Investigated the properties of blood flow through large arteries and the properties of the artery wall, with the aim of investigating their relationships.
• Hypothesized that blood flow acts in the manner a fluid would when flowing steadily through a rigid cylinder.
• Investigated the reasons this is not the case due to pumping action of the heart and elasticity of blood vessel walls.
