Recruited by this Biotechnology firm to assist in extracting and storing stem cells directly from cord blood, tissue, and dental pulp specimens. Conduct testing and evaluation of the specimens regarding purity and viability for use in future medical research and procedures. Coordinate with laboratory management and peer technicians to plan research projects and execute testing strategies. Maintain and operate laboratory equipment. Perform QC processes and keep detailed notes and logs of research results and test data. Train laboratory technicians.

Play key role in implementing and using proper operational protocols, ensuring adherence to all AABB and FDA regulations and inspection procedures.

Participated in researching and establishing new SOPs regarding proper use of cord tissue sterility testing; the team published and presented research project data at the 2016 AABB Conference held.
