RELEVANT PROJECTS

Senior Design:

Worked in a team of 4 members in an Autonomous Wheelchair that will move a person from point A to B. We were in charge of the electrical and mechanical part as DC motors, H-bridges, power supply. Also worked with Python in the programming of ADC to control both Hall sensors, Infrared sensors, and a Joystick through analog signals; since the Raspberry Pi 3 is not able to read analog signals an ADC was introduced.

Power Electronics:

Designed a Boost Converter Power Stage operating at a continuous current mode. The converter was built under certain operations conditions. The main goal of the project was to increase an input voltage/power shown on its output. Handwritten calculations were made in order to know the correct elements to be used and simulated on PSpice. Design of the circuit was based on inductors, capacitors, resistors and power supply.

Electronic Lab 2:

The project was the design of an audio frequency bandpass filter with an amplifier. The entire design required circuit specifications with constraints to be met. The project was tasked to be constructed on teams in order to facilitate the work and exchange of knowledge about analog circuits through the design. Each part has its process of simulation, design and construction of the circuit on a breadboard. The final stage consisted of implementing all components into a PCB, using the Printed Circuit Board Editor for the board design and layout. Finally, the circuit will have to operate correctly and met all the specifications to be test it and demonstrated as expected. The principal issues faced during the design and construction of the project was the correctly analysis and debug of the circuit, where sometimes the problem was so simple to recognize.
