Program Manager – Nuance communications, Inc.,

2017 – Present

Responsibilities: As a program manager in the Healthcare Division at Nuance Communications I am responsible for the execution and daily oversight of our main operational programs including; Product Growth, Data Center Reliability, Data Center Resiliency and COGS Reduction, Security & Compliance, Geographic Expansion and R&D Efforts.

My current role requires the following.

Managing the day-to-day project execution related to proprietary software solutions and the hosted infrastructure that supports them offered in the U.S and European healthcare markets.

Utilizing Waterfall and Agile methodologies from initial scoping to delivery.

4 years in a HIPPA compliant operations environment. Completing Hi-Trust and SOC I & II compliance certifications.

Performing tasks like choosing and managing vendor companies providing IT solutions and services.

Identifying risks associated with projects and developing plans to resolve those.

Developing large scale project budgets and presenting to executive stakeholders for review.

Senior Project Manager – Nuance Communications, Inc.,

2014 - 2017

Responsibilities: The Nuance Healthcare division has transitioned recently to self-hosting its broad range of software solutions, as defined by the SaaS model. Working within Nuance’s Healthcare Hosted Infrastructure Services (operations) group, my duties include cross-functional project and program management for all Nuance Healthcare products.

Recently completed projects include the build-out of a brand new fully compliant, high availability private cloud hosted solution for our largest clients and a fully operational data center environment for our healthcare engineering team ($7M and $12M project investment respectively), deployment of a brand-new support ticketing system on a Salesforce platform, build-out of brand new Healthcare Research Grid, and the overhaul of the network foundation of our primary data center. Additional smaller scale projects include a variety of product growth infrastructure enhancements and customer facing software deployments.

Specific projects include United Kingdom N3 certification, UK data center expansion, Dragon Mobile Assistant product release, Nuance Canada data centers consolidation and U.S data centers consolidation.

R&D Project Manager – Nuance Communications, Inc.

2007 – 2014

Responsibilities: Highly technical project manager role within the Nuance research and development organization in the Mobile division. My primary responsibility was the overall management of both large and small scale data collection projects. Specifically, Nuance R&D relies heavily on acoustic and text data for the development, improvement and refinement of our voice recognition products and solution offerings. Data was collected in a multitude of countries and languages which required attention to very unique and specific details for each project. The role included all fundamental elements of project management as well as creating functional cross- departmental partnerships and the regular coordination of various product development teams, marketing/sales groups, human resources, finance and senior leadership.
