• Manufacturing of PET and HDPE resin from recycled bottles. The resin is sold for the manufacturing of new bottles.
• Lead and coach extrusion machine operators and encourage safety. Assist operators and take hourly resin samples to ensure the quality of the resin.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings
• Report and file any incidents or accidents that may occur throughout the shift. Communicate and coordinate production via email and in person.
• Complete daily tasks such as preventative maintenance, cutter blade changes, start ups, and shut downs.
• Ensure that the resin is sent to the correct silos or made up into boxes for shipping purposes.

• Senior Design Capstone
• Vantage Plastics is a plastic thermoforming manufacturer that provides its services to a wide variety of industries, including automotive manufacturers, food processing and handling, agriculture manufacturers and producers, recreational manufacturers and products, lawn and garden industry and more.
• Worked with a group to design and develop a pneumatic clamping mechanism for a thermoforming machine. The scope of the project was to increase the efficiency, and lower the operating costs by increasing the clamping pressure, which allowed us to decrease the clamping area.
