Led Weapons department through a challenging 7 month deployment to the east coast of Africa and eastern Mediterranean Sea.

Managed the removal and installation of three major weapons systems during a 6 month Ship yard period.

Supervised the preventative and corrective maintenance on the AN/SQQ89 V6 Sonar Suite and all associated peripherals.

Served as the Ships Casualty Assistance Control Officer, the official representative of the Secretary of the Navy providing information, resources and assistance to Primary Next of Kin and Secondary Next of Kin in the event of a casualty. My responsibility and mission is to assist families during a difficult time and ensure they receive the benefits and entitlements due.
