Project: RBS – Payments and Future Clearing Model - FCM

Duration: From March, 2017 till date

Role – Technology Analyst

Project Details: The project is based mainly on the implementation of future clearing model projected as part of ICB regulations for all banks across UK demanding the cheque clearing process to be automated and be processed within 1-2 working days with digitalized copies being transferred. CT7A, UZ are the environments supporting the same with UZ being used for industry testing and functional testing respectively.

Responsibility: To be involved with build works for all increments and releases to be demarked for the implementation of FCM model, to provide online support and all the required screens setup and shakedown to the testers for FCM built. Also, involved in UZ for the running of batches to implement in FCM in UZ and provide online windows.

Extended support provided in UZ as part of special demands form client to execute batch on time.

Project: RBS – Payments Functionality

Duration: From Oct, 2016 – March 2017

Role – Technology Analyst

Project Details: The project is primarily aligned to UAT (User Acceptance Test) environment, providing day to day transactions and all the functionalities supported by the Bank. Our domain is PTS (Payment Test Support) where we deal with all online transactions, Batch monitoring for overnight job run and updation of all online processes that occur during day, deployment and changes, code enhancements, debugging and resolutions, and act as configuration managers to approve any deployment or database requests and further action upon the same.

Responsibility: As an analyst and senior programmer, to approve all user requests and action the deployment and changes and primarily provide the online working day to the bank monitoring the complete payments domain to see payments going fine, debug issues and provide CR as part of permanent fixes and enhancements and automations as part of overall improvement in payments area for RBS. Also, run the overnight batch to support the effect of all the transactions and database changes that takes place as part of online work.

Also dealing with RBS India Mainframe Batch Services

Well versed in working Build work activities for Batch Schedule creations using ISPF

Monitoring all Mainframe batch jobs and fixing abends, check for long running jobs and investigate for any loop back issues with batch jobs.

Ensure timely completion of the batch cycles, HOLD, Force complete, Rerun and schedule to run next workday.

Have Working knowledge in Connect Direct & Fileaid, JMR Tools.

Description: The project is designed as part of delivery and migration Programme from RBS to W&G using UZ as the environment setup to do the testing of functionalities and accounts before transferring to W&G. The UZ environment has been built by taking the production data cut from RBS and testing on the Source SIT side and then migrating to target side which is W&G bank as part of cutover activity.

Responsibility: Part of Central L2 Team owning UZ env, aligned to Source side testing to assure successful batch and online comlpetion and env availability for keying in and divesting account to W&G.

Technology Used: COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, DB as Oracle for front end connectivity Tools Used: JIRA, CA-7, PVCS Tracker

Project: RBS – Payments

Duration: From 2nd March 2015 – till 31st May, 2016

Role – Network/ System Administrator

Project Details: Working as Team member for DAS team under Infrastructure Maintenance Services (IMST) for RBS-Citizens Bank for maintenance of applications and the production, QA, Dev and DR servers on which the applications run.

Technology Used: Applications are based on various platforms like UNIX, ASP .NET, Java, Oracle DB etc.

Description: The project aimed at fully automated reliable system for managing the policies, customer details, claims and all insurance related information.
