SUMMARY
I have many years experience developing financial and insurance applications, targeted for desktop distribution as well as web-based applications. My projects have led me through many technologies as they have become available starting with Visual Basic 6.0 through Visual Studio 2015. I have converted VB6 applications such as our Financial Manager software to the .Net Framework. I have a good knowledge of object orient-oriented design patterns as they have become more crucial to the .Net Framework based applications. I have also become proficient at C# programming and have found it to be very straight forward and easier to use than Visual Basic. I have used API and sub-classing techniques to advance beyond the normal limitations of Visual Studio programming. I work with XML documents on a regular basis, converting XBRL documents received from the FDIC to XML based drivers which provide the core logic to the CallReporter application. I use a combination of XML logic and regular expressions to run thousands of validation checks before data is submitted to the FRB and FDIC. Web services are consumed from the FDIC to provide instant information to the user, web services are provided to assist with troubleshooting common connection problems with the FDIC.
I understand the exacting requirements of the Banking and Insurance Industries and the demands of producing updated software on stringent deadlines. I have the ability to write, test and debug such software to pass the scrutiny of over 4500 banks ranging in asset size from banks such as Wells Fargo to the smallest community bank and to perform across many

Microsoft platforms including Citrix. All of my products are designed to install and work in local area networks with multiple users. The long history I have had developing applications for the various Microsoft platforms has proved invaluable for the successful development of software, and will be crucial for future development.
I also have a range of talents that other software developers lack, such as an eye for sharp graphic design and an understanding of the limitations of graphics displayed over the internet. I use CSS style sheets to manage the look and feel of our web-sites consistently. This talent has been used to greatly improve the look of our software and to make it look current with operating systems.
FIS, is the leading provider of technical services for the banking industry. I have maintained our company's reputation and close relationship with our clients without fail by providing the best quality financial products available on the market. I have maintained the trust with these banks by making their requirement to file financial statements electronically as easy and pain-free as possible.
