EXPERIENCE
Project Engineer 01/2017 – 05/2017
Texas A&M University - Water Systems Evaluation (Academic Project)
Objective of the research was to find a low cost sustainable source of potable water.
Researched and analyzed existing potable water sources and their pertinent sustainability.
Established new potable water source compliant to regulatory guidelines and generated a detailed project proposal.
Planned and scheduled the implementation of the water supply project, including an exhaustive budget for the infrastructure and implementation.
Project Engineer 08/2016 – 12/2016
Texas A&M University - Construction Project Planning and Control (Academic Project)
Allocated necessary project resources within the budgetary constraints.
Reviewed and prepared exhaustive cost estimates, labor and supplier contracts, and regulatory permits.
Formulated effective project plans to enhance the scope for profits.
Incorporated efficient change management methodologies to ensure project meets deadlines.
Design Engineer 05/2013 – 09/2013
Brunel University London - Enhanced Design and Analysis of Disc Brake Rotor (Academic Project)
Researched and analyzed existing brake rotors, to determine innovative methodologies to enhance brake disc cooling.
Designed an ingenious ventilated brake disc using SolidWorks, to enable cooling by air flow, by adapting the concept of heat transfer in fins.
Carried out a thorough thermal and CFD analysis of the brake rotor using ANSYS workbench, to ensure that the research objectives are met.
Considerably reduced material usage and implied costs for the manufacturing process.
Chief Chassis Engineer 09/2012 – 07/2013
Brunel University London - Space-frame Chassis Design for Formula Student (Academic Project)
In the capacity of a chief chassis engineer, lead the chassis department of the university team at Formula Student UK 2013.
Established cross cultural communication and cross functional working relationships within the chassis department and with the other departments in the team.
Effectively and efficiently carried out the design and manufacture of a single-seater race car, to finish in 2nd place from over a 100 teams in competition from across the world.
Designed the space frame chassis using SolidWorks, whilst achieving considerable weight reduction of the component.
Carried out an exhaustive stress and thermal analysis of the chassis using ANSYS Workbench, to gauge the component’s performance against various realistic loads.
Project Engineer 07/2011 – 08/2012
VAG-Valves (India) Pvt Ltd - Supply Chain Department
Conducted department needs analysis with focus on processes. Collaborated with department heads to develop and implement supply chain manual to decrease learning curve of new recruits
