Project Description:

CMV application fetches FX rates from Reuters calculates accuracy and consistency and provides to all the CMV applications across the Deutsche Bank network and all the down streams in different form. It manages and records all the collateral movements and securities details of the user. It captures all the Trade details their currency and the value of the trades.Trades are captured and sent to downstream systems using batches. Trades flow from Front Office to Global Back Office and then the main process like Accounting, date roll, document generations for the trades will be processed in CMV ans sent to downstream.

Db-Margin application fetches trades and trade related details from the upstream and with the proper fx-rates calculates the trade values and handles Margin calls of the particular party and counterparty across the region. db-Margin provides various reports according to the preference of the user. Roles and responsibilities:

Batch Monitoring/Event Monitoring - Batch monitoring/maintenance, respond to job overruns, under runs, failures, etc., stop/start jobs as required, feed/files monitoring, health checks, housekeeping activities, proactively amend monitoring process to eliminate false alerts/events, monitor defined OLAs and SLAs.

Change Management and Release Management – Assist with Change management and participating in Deployment activities as required, plan downtime for infrastructure changes and communicate to stakeholders, validate and approve GCMs, ensure environment support has proper rollout and rollback procedures in-place, technical release notes and post-implementation testing and sign-off.

Knowledge Management - Creating/Maintaining project documents/articles and updating knowledge Database (KDB), create knowledge articles for incidents and service requests, document workarounds and publish to knowledge articles, continually review and improve KCS articles, maintaining the Run books, registering the solution for the known errors

User Management - Administrating User Access, fulfill SR’s, meeting SR SLAs, provide timely and thorough updates on all issues handled maintaining a positive customer experience, daily/weekly/monthly review meetings with users. Worked with team members during data gathering.
