Electrical Director / Solar Racing Team, Appalachian State University
Lead the Electrical Team on Appalachian State University’s Solar Vehicle Team, managed 25+ graduate and undergraduate students to ensure the performance and durability of a solar powered race car. Collaborated on designing electrical systems within the current and next generation solar cars. Maintained and troubleshot every electrical component from Electric Motor to Li-Ion Batteries in high stress situations. Assisted in winning 3rd, 2nd, & 6th place in the 2016 Formula Sun Grand Prix, 2017 Formula Sun Grand Prix, & 2016 American Solar Challenge respectively.
