Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Gather and empty trash. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Graffiti removal and grounds maintenance or parks and outside recreational areas. Building Superintendent Duties:
Maintained building grounds and common areas to ensure clean, neat and safe conditions. Repairs: locks, bathroom, doors, sheetrock, painting, plaster. Carried out repairs as necessary to maintain building Removed building garbage and recyclables and placed for pick-up at the appropriate times and days. Kept all entrances, paths, sidewalks and stairways completely clear of snow and ice. Prepared vacant units for re-renting.
Maintained inspection logs for standpipe/sprinkler, maintenance logs and all federal, state and city regulations Performed daily, weekly and monthly inspections of all common areas throughout building Responded to emergency calls and rectify existing condition Relevant Work Experience:
