TITLE: 3 PHASE TO 5 PHASE CONVERSION USING 3 SINGLE PHASE TRANSFORMERS. DESCRIPTION:
• B.E. Project on Conversion of 3 phase supply into 5 phase using 3 single phase transformers. Three separate cores are designed with each carrying one primary and three secondary coils, except in one core where only two secondary coils are used.
• The choice of turn ratio is the key in creating the requisite phase displacement in the output phases.
TITLE: MAGNETIC LEVITATION VERTICAL AXIS WIND TURBINE. DESCRIPTION:
• Using the effects of magnetic repulsion, spiral shaped wind turbine blades will be fitted on a rod for stability during rotation and suspended on magnets as a replacement for ball bearings which are normally used on conventional wind turbines.
• Power will then be generated with an axial flux generator, which incorporates the use of permanent magnets and a set of coils.
