Project work:

Assisting Visually Challenged People For Powering Them To Come Out Of Darkness

In this paper, we have mainly focused on assisting visually challenged people by detecting the face.Here we have introduced the correlation algorithm and Viola-Jones algorithm for matching the faces. To make the task more manageable, Viola–Jones requires full view frontal upright faces. Thus in order to be detected, the entire face must point towards the camera and should not be tilted to either side. The hardware unit is also used to give a voice about the person after detection of face. The comparision is done by matching the existing database. Databases are stored with the known person photos along with the name. The matching takes place only if the maximum matching points are matched. We have proposed this system which is mainly used for assisting the blind people while they are out of home.
