Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing this letter to apply for your Electrical Engineer position. I saw your add on indeed on Saturday Sept 29th. I believe I am a qualified applicant for the position.
I am very interested in the Electrical Engineer position that is available at your company. I have three and a half years of experience in an electrical engineering field at Star Headlight & Lantern Co. When I started at STAR I worked as an entry level Electrical Engineering Technician. During this time, I gained knowledge on how to use equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers. I am currently the Engineering Lab Supervisor at STAR. As the Lab Supervisor, I have gained experience in test fixture builds, PIC Micro Controllers, I/O Devices, OrCAD PCB Designer/Capture, Database management, AutoCAD, DraftSight, and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), assembly, and C++. I believe my experience at STAR will serve as a great base to build off at your company.
I received my associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies from Monroe Community College in the Spring of 2016, and am currently continuing my education in Electrical Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology. I expect to finish my bachelors of Electrical Engineering in the fall of 2018.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I hope you agree that I am qualified for the position. Please look at my attached resume. If you would like to speak with me I can be reached by phone or email. I look forward to discussing my qualifications with you further.
Sincerely,
Ethan Hudson
