Provide Project Engineering and Project Services support to assigned projects (iMMLS: Gulf Coast Corridor

(GCC), Great Lakes Corridor (GLC) & Canadian Green Corridor (CGC); Alaskan Venture Projects: Kulluk Repair & Discoverer).

Coordinate and lead the Project Managers’ Technical Meetings with project leads, team members and supporting staff.

Develop, implement, execute and monitor Memorandum of Change Procedures to account and document all proposed changes for approval or rejection.

Key Accomplishments:

Found an additional Project Execution Option, previously overlooked, which could bring Shell a 1:1 ROI versus the previous outlook of Shell having a complete loss on ROI. A difference from -$127M to +$190M.

Received Special Recognition Award, from Project Services General Manager, for performance on Alaskan Projects.

Alerted Project Manager to, an estimated, $9 million of potential savings through duplicate charges, overlapping duties/descriptions, incorrect billing charges and overstated rates.

Provided engineering and coordinate project team to provide a reliable, completely functional subsea control system, consisting of both topsides and subsea components, on schedule and within budget.

Detail design and execute phases of prospect development spanning the system selection, FEED, and specialist/trouble-shooting support to existing producing assets.

Personally responsible for the Ozona Hydraulic Control Unit valued in excess of $200,000.

Responsible for compliance, specifications, system analysis, programming and safety. Key Accomplishments:

Minimized Ozona project costs for the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) a total of 18% by completing the production/testing of the HCU 10 months ahead of schedule and eliminating unneeded ‘upgrades.’

Redesigned Hydraulic Control Unit Function Test Procedure to incorporate 100% functionality testing of all safety components from previous version’s 11% functionality test.

Improved thoroughness of safety software by adding 111 lines of Shutdown Criteria combinations from the previous 17 combinations tested; a 650% improvement.
