Project Manager

Thirty five years experience in the General Contracting industry, managing commercial, residential, and government contracts. A complete understanding and utilization of the processes and knowledge areas of the construction industry. As a Construction manager was responsible for the planning, directing and coordination, usually through subordinate personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. Prepare and submit budget estimates, cost progress reports, and cost tracking.

Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to construction staff, client representation, subcontractors and anyone with contractual interest in the project.

Utilize best available resources.

Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction, maintenance of project structure, facilities, or systems.

Take action to deal with delays, bad weather, or emergencies concerning project.

Inspect and review project to determine risk, while complying with building and safety codes.

Select subcontractors and oversee the individual trades as determined by contract.

Monitor and control project to completion.

Closeout project.
