I served as a member of the lead crew that assisted ALARA technicians. Primary job was staging,
installing, and removing temporary shielding in both containment and auxiliary buildings.
SpeciDc jobs; installing lead blankets on sca/olds and piping in RCP 2 Alpha, installing tungsten
pieces inside the pressurizer and lead blankets on piping outside of pressurizer cubicle,
wrapping tungsten pieces around ICI stocks inside the head and posi oning shield doors on
head, installing and bringing down lead blankets on sca/olding around the reactor drain tank
and on the component itself, placing tungsten les on polar crane for reduc on in dose received
by crane operators, hung lead blankets on sca/olding in the vicinity of the reactor head stand,
installa on of lead shielding on sca/olds and components in the north and south letdown valve
galleries, and assembling schmi$y shields inside the reactor building. I also par cipated in cavity
decon this refueling outage.

My jobs included applying rhino rug to reactor canal ?oor, deconning valves and HEPA units,
staging of lead blankets inside containment, performing rou ne work inside containment and
auxiliary buildings. I also held occasional responsibility for bringing in various materials from
warehouse to the RCA and checking rad worker’s trip ckets prior to their entry into the RCA.

decon, and area decon for release purposes.
