Experience: 2006-2015: Physical Therapist Aide at Leon Medical Center.

Directing and aiding patients in therapeutic exercise, and applying therapeutic modalities, also performing other activities according to the plan of care established by the licensed physical therapist.

•2010-2014: Part time in Medical Coding and Billing with Barbara Santos; Billing consultant.

CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9 and ICD-10 Risk Adjustment Capture.

•2015-2016: Medical Coding and Billing at Fenix Medical Partner. (Temporary position)

Duties involved; abstracting patient diagnostic and procedure from the medical record, and assigning the appropriate codes following ICD-10 CM and/or CPT-4 coding guidelines to insure proper payment.

Accreditations: Professional Medical Coding CPC certified through AAPC. Licensed Massage Therapist and Bodywork. Skills: extensive knowledge of ICD-9CM, ICD-10CM, CPT, HCPCS, and HCC Coding. Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Nextgen Program, and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, also ensuring compliance of coding rules and regulations according to agencies, and can effectively communicate with physicians to clarify diagnostics, coding procedures and documentation. Ultrasound and Electrical Stimulation and Reflexology.
