JAX Refrigeration, Inc.: Engineering Project Manager – Industrial Refrigeration Engineering (June 2015 – Present)

• Produce well-organized, complete design packages of good appearance, accuracy, clarity and correctness, paying close attention to industry codes. Lead the planning and implementation of numerous project. Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables. Define project tasks and resource requirements. Coordinate project staff and efficiently provide them with adequate information. Develop full scale project plan. Plan and schedule project timelines. Track project deliverables using appropriate tools. Provide direction and support to project team. Quality assurance, constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all associated parties. Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project goals. Project evaluation and assessment of results.

North Carolina A&T State University: Research Assistant – Sustainable Pavement Design (Aug 2012 – May 2014)

• My tasks included but were not limited to; technical research of current studies in the pavement, construction and composites industry; design an experimental plan based on technical research without duplicating previous studies; test and evaluate designed asphalt samples; analyse results and produce an informative project report.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT): Research Assistant - Sustainable Pavement Design (August 2013)

• Conducted experiments on pavement designs to determine the performance and characteristics. I also evaluated the rheological properties and aging susceptibility of nano/bio-modified asphalt binder. Centre for Energy Research and Technology: Intern – Building Services (HVAC Design) (Jan 2011 – Jul 2011)

• This opportunity exposed me to the day to day processes of a heating and cooling plant for building services and all equipment required for a fully operational plant. This included thorough understanding of HVAC systems (MEP) such as boilers, chillers, pumps, piping and air handling units. Knowledge of ASHRAE standards were also important. My task was then to evaluate the efficiency of the heating and cooling systems.

O’Brien & Gere Engineers: Intern – Architect (May – August 2010)

• I was a part of the Pathways to Employment program at OBG. This provided extensive project experience, hands-on training, one-on-one mentorship, guidance and the opportunity to learn from the senior and executive level employees. Being involved in numerous projects, my tasks were to ensure architectural designs were completed on time.
