VMware vSphere Qualified: Fulton County is 80% VM Server Infrastructure existing in a private cloud. We are currently up to VMware vCenter version 6.0. I have built eighty plus Virtual Servers in support of the Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS), Odyssey project. I have currently built a series of Windows10 Virtual Machines, in support of Fulton County Government, applications compatibility testing.

Vmware Administrator: responsibility include installing, configuring and Upgrading vCenter 6.0 server, Setting up, Install and configure ESX/ESXi servers

Upgrade system software and hardware components as required to meet business needs

Configure vSphere Distributed Switch, vShield zones, vSphere Thin Provisioning and Resource Pools, Host Profiles. Set up backup and recovery of Virtual Machines

Familiar with SAN, NAS using block storage, ISCSI and Network vSwitch, VLAN, NIC Teaming, Port binding etc

Built the MSA/Canon 2012 R2 server Suite that consists of 5 servers residing in the VMware Infrastructure. The Uniflow central server for request distribution, and the four Remote Printing Servers (RPS), which contain the 400 Canon copier objects for Fulton County.

MSA/Canon back- end Administrator responsible for Protocol Selection, DHCP Reservations, DNS Server Addressing, Domain Name Acquisition, Primary and Secondary DNS Server Addressing, and Dynamic DNS, on the Fulton County Government Network.

Designed and Implemented Fulton County’s naming convention for the MSA/Canon copiers. This allows for a rapid means to identify which of the 58 Departments and Agencies the copier(s) are location for optimal operational up time.

Monitors and investigates the 4 RPS’s for copiers displaying error messages. After determining the issue, I forward the finding to the MSA/Canon onboard staff. I also perform all network configurations when a copier in moved or replaced. This also ensures that the copier have the ip address in the right range on any segment of the network.

Fulton County Department of Information Technology, Network Printer Administrator, responsible for 267 networked printers and plotters, countywide.

Migrated all printer and plotter objects from a 2003 Windows server cluster, to two 2008 load balanced, Windows servers, to one 2012 R2 Windows server without impact to service. This was done in conjunction with the support and end of life for the aforementioned operating systems.

Websense Administrator: Manages Fulton County’s Websense initiatives.

- Monitoring more than 10,000 combined users and computer accounts.

- Develops group policies in accordance with Fulton County’s, Acceptable Internet usage Policy, 600-60, and ## departmental professional needs.

- Created and implemented an informative reporting vehicle that’s utilized to bring to the attention of users that they’re Fulton County user account is in compromise, being utilized in a manner that is in violation of Policy 600-60, which allows the user to correct any misuse of the account.

-Generates reports that are inclusive of every user, computer and departments on the network, revealing abuses covered in 600-60.

-Built and implemented the first fully functional Websense 7.1 Suite in a VSphere 4 environment across three physical servers using Enterprise Server 2008/SQL Server 2005.

-Conducted Research and Development with the Websense development team for the development of Websense7 series in its current form.

-Rebuilt Websense stand-alone server solution 5.5 and updated the solution the version 6.3. Reconfigured the server platform and upgraded firmware to optimize hardware and software performance.

Forefront Administrator: Manages Malware reports for the enterprise. Proactively attacks virus issues that have been identified by Forefront, and user reported virus issues.

-Utilizes tools to clean pc’s remotely, saving the county person-hours and transportation cost to visit sites, unless necessary.

-Identify pc’s that have acquired a virus as a result of not receiving weekly windows updates or Forefront definitions. Explores if the pc’s are in their proper organizational units, in the domain, or if the ip address has changed, and report it to the perspective administrator.

Departmental Support: Provided to thousands of county personnel to include The Personnel Department, Sheriffs’ Department, Department of Information Technology, Purchasing Department, Superior Count Administration, The Fulton County Jail, The Library System, etc…

Developed project guidelines for Astaro web filtering appliance in support of Fulton County Superior Court.

ADMINISTRATIVE

Researched and authored the Naval Security Group Instruction 3260.1, Signals Security Procedures, in accordance with US Attorney General directives.

Authored, implemented and trained 10 Special Signals Exploitation Space (SSES) personnel on the UNIX –based Cryptologic Combat Computer Support System (CCCSS).

As Department Training Coordinator for Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station, coordinated with numerous area organizations and subject matter experts to provide timely and informative lectures to 350 department personnel.

Expertly trained 12 newly assigned personnel and 25 reservists on the intricacies of Computer/Telecommunications Signals Security operations. Personnel were 100% qualified weeks ahead of scheduled and performing at a level of more seasoned specialist.

Configured Cisco DSL 800 series routers bringing up 2 Fulton County Tax Commissioner sites and 1 Health & Wellness site with minimal impact to site operations.

Trained a New Network administrator and a System Manager on all aspects of configuring and troubleshoot the 800 series Cisco Router utilized by the Fulton County Fire Department.

Created VPN Access Database to account for Fulton County Government authorized users.
