PROJECT 1 : IoT BASED VEHICLE ANTI-THEFT TRACKING SYSTEM Role & Responsibility's : Acted as Project Leader to team during board bring-up activities, Individual contribution for Interfacing LCD and GPS module with Microcontroller. Tools : Embedded C, ARM7(LPC2148) Microcontroller, Keil Software.
Project description :
In this project we used ARM7(Advance RISC Machine) microcontroller along with peripherals GSM, GPS, LCD and Relay. Here GPS module to track the position of vehicle, ARM7 uses GPS values and which will be shared to registered mobile via GSM module to notify user. In situation user has option to STOP to vehicle by triggering SMS to vehicle ECU from registered mobile. The IOT(Internet Of Things) is used to communicate with device. And the GPS values are stored in GPS website when ever vehicle is in ON state.
PROJECT2 : HF ARRAY RADAR AT NARL.
Responsibility’s : Testing and Aliening the Antennas. Tools : Yagi-Uda Antennas, Splitters and Site Master. Project description :
In this project we used Yagi-Uda antennas as HF(High Frequency) array. The array having 160(8X20 Matrix) antennas. All antennas connected with splitters. This project working frequency is 30MHz and bandwidth is 1.5MHz.
The radar has the beam steering capability to scan a larger part of the sky up to 45o in East- West direction. The antennas controlled by TR(Transmit-Receive) control block. It contains Transmitters and Receivers for transmitting and receiving the signal from antennas. TR modules in transmit mode by using 1:5 and 1:4 power dividers through T/R switches. In receive mode, the received signals from each TR module are combined and given back to the receiver Backend Unit.
OWN PROJECT :
PROJECT NAME : Automated Toll Plaza Using RFID.
Responsibility’s : Individual ownership taken for this project. Tools : Embedded C, 8051(AT89S52) Microcontroller, Keil Software. Project description :
In this project the 8051 microcontroller with peripherals are RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) reader, RTC(Real Time Clock), DC motor, IR(Infra Red) sensor and LCD used. The RFID receiver is Active and the RFID tags are passive. As soon as the tag comes in the range of the receiver, the unique code from the tag is identified by the receiver and same will be communicated to microcontroller. The Microcontroller will matches the unique code to the Central Database and checks if the owner of the tag is in good standing with respect to the balance in his account. Stipulated price of the toll will be deducted from his account. And displays balance on LCD. The RTC (DS1307) interfaced to microcontroller using I2C. The microcontroller can read data from RTC and displays on LCD.
To control the toll gate, here DC motor is used. The IR sensor mechanism is used to close the toll gate when vehicle crosses the sensor.
