PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

As a senior electrical analyst and project manager for past 15 years, I trained all graduate electrical engineer hires and provided support for electrical problems arising from design and code issues. I was also responsible for companywide support for AutoCAD and created and maintained custom MEP menus and LISP routines. I have been working on medical projects since the mid 80's and have managed and designed systems for dozens of hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, freestanding emergency rooms, end-stage renal dialysis clinics, urgent care facilities, dental offices, and clinics. I am also experienced with CT, X-ray, MRI, UPS, and generator system design. I met with the TDSHS architectural review group at Rebecca Read's request for a 4-hour question and answer session to explain MEP health code requirements.

In addition to medical design, I have many years experience with retail, residential, and commercial work. I have designed electrical distribution systems for high-rise office buildings and condominiums and the recently completed renovation and expansion of the George R Brown Convention Center. I have worked extensively for CBRE at Wells Fargo Plaza to replace the entire fire alarm system and redesigned the building's main electrical gear to include remotely controlled energy reduction circuit breakers.

I am also accomplished at electrical service requirements and coordination with the power company, generator design and replacement, and electrical surveys and reports.
