Executive Summary
Project Manager
Actively conducts field surveys and study layouts, graphs, diagrams, and other data to identify and correct project critical path problems with innovative, cost effective solutions.
Intensively study and absorb the “tough” technical obstacles of the project details. Avoid the complacent assumptions that jeopardize budget and timeline projections.
Get the required specifications of the major elements of the project as concerns government guidelines. With government guidelines that can impact everything on the project comes the inspections. Craft and safety inspections are vital to continued approvals from these government inspectors. Pro-active paperwork, active hands on supervision of critical elements coming under critical inspection sign-offs.
Highly engaged with computer based construction resources. I have an expert level of operation experience with all of the Microsoft Office programs, along with imaginative network, net meeting, graphic resources that do enhance clear design transfer to active in field working supervisors responsible for quality on time delivery of project goals.
Review materials requisition with a diligent, protect the project budget, and timeline goals with a military daily type of rigor and enthusiasm.
Monitor and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, support, documentation and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
Compile project data, and create detailed reports regarding existing achievements, and a far sighted vision of potential pit falls that the project may run into. Calm, decisive well thought out solutions that achieve timely results with respect to budgetary constraints.
Provide safety guidance, and corporate safety guidelines to the different crafts. It is important for me to present these items as a part of a worksite culture conducive to all involved with project success. Losing project success to senseless safety violations are to be vigilantly monitored. Safety Education where all understand clearly how to do the job safe. Provide the worksite materials, signs, markers, barriers, and also assuring that the Spanish element of the workforce understand their tasks in their own language. Although being from South Louisiana grew up with Cajun French, I also am fluent in Spanish.
To be clear …. This CV includes a lapse of time worked shown from Sept. 2015 to the present. Personal family issues. Dealing with Mothers’ senior health care, developing and selling personal real estate, and the best part… got a new lovely wife in my life.
Be assured that I am ready to engage all project management projects that I will be entrusted with the utmost of professional considerations. JKD.
