Project: Docubuilder

DocuBuilder is an automated publishing system for mutual fund marketing and compliance documents. DocuBuilder works from within any web browser to give companies control over their documents in a familiar and uncomplicated environment. The DocuBuilder Interface allows users to assemble documents from these components with automated support. The system applies filtering criteria attached to each component and uses document structural rules and content requirements to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and corporate style.

Responsibilities

Analyzed business requirements and functional documents, created the test strategy document that define the test environment, phases of testing, entrance and exit criteria into different phases of testing and resources required to conduct the effort.

Drafted Test Plan which included testing objectives, testing phases, scenarios and test environment after a thorough analysis of the business rules.

Developed Automation framework using Selenium Web Driver.

Used Selenium WebDriver for writing test scripts for regression test coverage.

Designed and developed framework using Page Object Model framework using Java, TestNG, and Selenium WebDriver.

Extended TestNG framework by adding some helper classes and methods.

Implemented Automated execution of tests (nightly and need based) using Maven.

Project: Code Reader - Meter Sample Management (MSM)

Nielsen Media Research began as a division of AC Nielsen, a marketing research firm, which measures Internet and digital media audiences. Meter Sample Management (MSM) is a desktop based application. The MSM application system manages work and provides information about every household that is a part of the Nielsen sample through the use of two applications: MSM Online and MSM Laptop. MSM will provide Household and Demographic information. People Meters/Set Meters/Code Reader meters will be used to get the Household and Demographic information.

Responsibilities

Responsible for QA design and develop test strategy, test plan, test cases, review test scripts & test cases, provide walkthroughs, execute test cases and analyze test results, report defects and track till close, and communicate status.

Used Selenium WebDriver to automate tests on cross browser and cross platform environment

Extensively worked with End-to-end testing for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Used XPATH, CSS Selectors locator patterns to identify elements.

Extensively used Data driven framework using Selenium and Test NG.

Written scripts to generate test data file which reads data from database, UI or generate random data.

Project: Product Design and Development (PDD)

Item Management Systems (IMS) and Vendor Planning and Forecasting (VPF) are important applications related to PDD. In VPF, we will do the planning and forecasting based on the different seasons by checking with the past few years data. Vendor Foundation (VF) and Vendor Report Card (VRC) uses several years’ data to get the details of the items. The data is also used to get the details of the assortment and component items. Senior Buyer subject area is getting the data from Merchandise Hierarchy and is associated with Department and Class. According to the forecast data, the items of different departments will be arranged in the stores through Item Management System.

Responsibilities:

Perform automation feasibility study & tool selection.

Perform Integrated System, Functional, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing, and Lead the testing activities, mentor the new team members

Used QTP for regression testing for automation of multiple modules in the environments.

Partner Sites are websites that hosts content provided by third party content providers. A ‘3’ or a ‘Vodafone’ subscriber can access these contents through mobile internet over 3G. The aim of this project is to upgrade the platform by implementing the latest version of gatekeeper – OCSG (Oracle Communication Services Gatekeeper) 5.0 and migration of the existing partner sites to the upgraded platform – including the current policy configurations and SLA(s).
