Painting PowerPac
The Painting PowerPac 6.05 is an add-in of ABB RobotStudio which is used to edit the paint programs. It provides functions to connect, fetch and transfer files to the robots on the shop floor. This enables the software to be used as a tool on the shop floor to edit the programs without disturbing the ongoing production. 2
Use Painting PowerPac for controlling a range of features, such as:
• Fetching paint programs from the robots on the shop floor into ABB RobotStudio
• Editing of Paint path
• Verify target position reachability and trigger events
• Setting and editing of trigger events
• Simulating paint programs
• Transferring files to robots
• Enabling user login based access to features
Environment: C#.NET, WPF & WinForms, WCF (Used for File Service) Platform and prerequisites: ABB RobotStudio 6.05
Role: Requirement gathering, design and development, peer code reviews and assistance in deployment of the product
ArcWelding PowerPac
ArcWelding PowerPac is a dedicated tool for generating arc weld programs in ABB RobotStudio. Utilizing the CAD geometry as the basis for all robotics programming, you can define weld locations and create robot positions. This method, known as geometry-based offline programming, gives you unprecedented control over the weld angles, resulting in improved quality. Environment: C#.NET, WinForms
Platform and prerequisites: ABB RobotStudio 6.05
Role: Requirement gathering, design and development, peer code reviews and assistance in deployment of the product
Project Experience in GeoOpsis, Bangalore:
Solar Ship Ground Control Station
Solar Ship GCS Software suite to be developed to view the data on the ground during flight (using a data link) as well as process and analyze the data post-flight.
Environment: C#.NET, WPF, WCF (used for Data Transmission) Role: Requirement gathering, Design, Coding and Testing WPF – Configurable Circular Gauges
Configurable Circular Custom Gauges are developed to incorporate into any Flight Telemetry Data simulation application to visualize, monitor and analyse various flight parameters such as Airspeed (in mph/kph or Knots), Altitude (in feet/meter/kilometre), Angle of Sideslip (degrees) etc., as minimum a radial scale that sweeps any angle from 0 to 360 degrees and a pointer, needle or knob that indicates values on that scale. The gauges are resizable, scalable and fully customizable.
List of Gauges developed are:
1) Angle of Attack
2) Angle of Side Slip
3) Pressure Gauge – (Helium and Ballonet Pressure gauge) 4) RPM (Revolution per Minute) Gauge
5) Airspeed Indicator

Environment: C#.NET, WPF
Role: Design, Coding and Testing
Flight Simulator – An Add-on to Prepar3D
Flight Simulator is a Prepar3d Add-on which takes FTE (Flight Test Engineering) Event Data generated using lab view voltage measurement device installed on the aircraft to record voltage drawn by each component. The FTE event test data are in the unit ‘voltage’ and converted to the respective unit using conversion equations and mapped to the simulation variables. The converted values are then sent to the aircraft to see the actual movement of the aircraft and its component (when it was on real time) in Prepar3d. The Flight simulator has the capability to jump to any FTE event data to pick any specific portion of flight to display based off “FTE Event” column. Environment: C#.NET
Prepar3D SDK Used: LockheedMartin.Prepar3D.SimConnect.dll Role: Requirement gathering, Design, Coding and Testing KLV parser Library for MPEG2 Transport Stream – A Lead Tool Project A KLV Parser Library component is designed and code to stretches a functionality to parse any KLV data from video feed containing aircraft and sensor metadata information in MPEG2 Transport Stream. The component is developed by reusing several functionalities of existing LEAD TOOL SDK and reverse engineering has been carried out to allow developers to parse KLV metadata defined in UAV Datalink Local Metadata Set (MISB STD 0601.4 4 March 2010). This data are then populated using individual UAVDatalinkMetadata properties and taken into SQL Database using Entity Framework for further evaluation. Keywords
KLV (Key-Length-Value) is a data encoding standard defined in SMPTE 336M-2007 used to embed data information in video feeds. Data are encoded into Key-Length-Value triplets, where key identifies the data, length specifies the data's length, and value is the data itself. MPEG-2 Transport Stream is one of the most popular multimedia container formats used in digital television, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and more that supports MPEG-2, MPEG 4, and H.264 encoded video. Environment: C#.NET
Lead Tool SDKs Used: Leadtool.Multimedia.dll
Role: Design and Coding
Project Experience in UAS Bangalore:
GIS Based Digital Library for SUJALA III (A World Bank Funded Project) The purpose of GIS Based Digital Repository System (Window Forms (GUI) application) is to allow users to create interactive queries (user-created searches), analyze spatial information, share and present the data in the form of maps and tables at farmer level. It is mainly designed to store, analyze, manage, Shares and present all types thematic map and assist Karnataka watershed development department in their planning, monitoring and decision making at micro-watersheds level and help various govt. body at local and state level in all facets of watershed development viz., planning, participatory action plan preparation and implementation, monitoring and evaluation and impact assessment.
Environment: C#.NET
ArcGIS Framework Used: ESRI.ArcGIS.Framework
Role: Design and Coding

Component 1 – Improved Program Integration in Rain-Fed Affected Areas - SUJALA III (A World Bank Funded Project)
The main objective of Sujala III project is to improve watershed management to help communities in rainfed areas to increase area under agriculture and income. It also aims to establish sustainable access to water for agriculture, drinking and other daily needs. The Project is executing in seven drought-prone districts of Karnataka including Gulbarga, Yadgir, Bidar, Koppal, Gadag, Davangere and Chamarajanagar districts. Environment: ArcGIS 10.3
Role: Production of various Thematic Maps, hydrological data analysis and map production, Integrated sub and Micro-watershed assessment and master planning, Digital Image Processing, Data Extraction and Interpretation. Academic Projects:
Modelling of Spatio-Temporal Urban dynamics: A Case study of Bhopal and its environs The research aims to model spatial-temporal urban dynamics in the Bhopal city using an integrated Markov Chain-Cellular Automata (MC-CA) urban growth model to predict the city’s expansion for the years 2018 and 2022. Main objective of this research is to understand LULC change, the extent of urbanization and urban sprawl in Bhopal city using time-series remote sensing data from 1977 to 2014 and modelling the same for future prediction. Remote Sensing and GIS techniques have been used to demonstrate their application to classify the urban footprints of the Bhopal city with the help of well-established landscape metrics (Complexity, Patchiness, Density and contagion/dispersion) for the monitoring and modelling of dynamic phenomena, like urbanization. Object-Oriented Programing is used to developed tool for enhancement of remote sensing data (Satellite Images). Environment: Java
Image processing software Used Erdas Imagine, Grass, QGIS, IDRISI, ArcGIS 10.2 Role: Did R&D by reviewing international journal papers and developed ideas to complete the project.
Android-ThinkPad 1.1 (Major Project)
The Project is aimed at developing an application to the mobile operating system Android that helps to save everything all in one place. Everything saved is automatically synchronized and instantly accessible on the web and phone.
Environment: Java, Android SDK
Role: Lead the project and involves in UI design and coding. Android Call Recorder (Minor Project)
The Project also known as call data record is a data record produced by a telephone exchange or other telecommunication equipment documenting the details of phone call that passed through the facility or device. Environment: Java, Android SDK
