Used a 2001 AIChE Design Competition for a Senior Design Project to optimize a plant to produce liquid fuel from syngas using a Fischer-Tropsh process.

Determined the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Net Product Value (NPV) for a 15-year period facility operation.

Undergraduate Research, Dr. Lorenzo Saliceti Piazza in Chemical Engineering Department University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez, P.R. 2011-2014

Produced ethanol from sugar cane bagasse while obtaining 19.2% glucose yield from hydrolyzing cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin in bagasse.

Discovered the optimal temperature for hydrolyzation of bagasse to ethanol to be 40-50ºC.
