National Urban Information System (NUIS) Scheme National Urban Information System (NUIS) is a National Mission initiated by Ministry of Urban Development in 2006 for Generation of multi scale Hierarchical Urban Geospatial Database on Thematic content using Satellite, Aerial and GPR techniques. The project has been executed by TCPO, SOI and NRSC/ISRO. Geospatial database generated for Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur, Korba and Bhilai in Chhattisgarh under the NUIS scheme.
