Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing with reference to possible employment with your company. I consider that my credentials, skills and interests may be a good match for a position with your company.

Presently I am semi-retired IT systems administrator. My last position was working with a company in Bensenville as their systems administrator. I had been with them over 15 years. During these years I have been responsible for all aspects of their IT systems, world wide support, as well as the purchase and training for all software.

Although I enjoy my position, my present health issues are forcing me to limit my responsibilities. I am therefore searching for new opportunities in which I can use my interpersonal and technical skills in a team environment.
