Responsible for the care and wellness of the founders of Strickland Family Farm Trust. Various duties included: transportation, medical care oversight, property maintenance and oversight.

Logistics Supervisor Kidde Aerospace 01/2000 - 01/2012 Wilson, NC

Stockroom, receiving and shipping supervisor. Provided daily processing of receivable and daily processing of shipments. Responsible for nineteen direct reports with different functions located in different areas and buildings. Responsibilities included: training, time management, scheduling, safety, budgeting, hiring’s and dismissals.

Member of the Boeing Quality Team which improved Kidde from an unacceptable supplier to one of Boeing’s Suppliers of the year. My main focus was on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Part of the management team which increased revenue from $80 Million dollars per year to $350 Million dollars per year.

Along with the materials manager supervised the factory relocation of 2 product lines from Massachusetts to North Carolina. My responsibilities were transportation of inventory, establishing new warehousing locations and storage.

Purchasing Buyer for all maintenance, repair and operation functions for Kidde Aerospace in Wilson. Plant saw shipments grow from 50 Million to 80 Million during this period. Primary roles were: cost reductions, product availability, plant productivity, and inventory control. I was also responsible for the outside contracting of specialized production functions.

Materials Planner Aeroquip 08/1994–07/1997 Middlesex, NC

Responsible for the coordination of Marine product line move from Ohio to North Carolina. Product line was unprofitable and customer satisfaction was extremely unsatisfactory. Responsible for the on-time delivery performance of this product line. New group concept of sales, delivery and cost coordinated together to bring this product line back to profitability.

Product Planner Aeroquip 08/1984-08/1994 Jackson, MI

Responsible for the planning and material flow of one product line. Responsible for delivery of raw material in time to maintain lead time for the production process. Duties included: inventory control, product tracking, and shipment delivery schedules. The product planner was the communication link between sales, production and purchasing.
