PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Archer Western Construction January 2016 – Present All Aboard Florida – Miami to Orlando Passenger Rail System - $200M Project Engineer

All Aboard Florida is a 235-mile new passenger rail system to be built alongside the existing Florida East Coast rail corridor. Project includes construction-management of all track work, rail signalization, and structural/bridge construction. As well as improvements to existing rail road grade crossings and implementation of quiet zones.

• Manage and schedule work activities for sub-contractors.

• Coordinate construction activities with local municipalities (city, county, state) on over one hundred existing railroad crossings within the rail corridor.

• Maintain proper roadway closures for work activities and provide adequate detour routes for local traffic.

• Obtain permits for all construction actives taking place within public/private right-of-way.

• Attend meetings and discuss project details with owners and stakeholders.

• Submit project documentation to owner representative which include schedules, submittals / transmittals, permits, RFI’s, as-builts / redlines, change orders, etc.

• Process and track costs for subcontracts, materials, labor, equipment, and service agreements. Archer Western Construction November 2014 – January 2016 Ft. Lauderdale Airport Runway Expansion - $100M

Intern Project Engineer

Project includes construction of a new 8,000-foot-long, 150-foot-wide runway and connecting taxiways and Archer Western self-preformed the placement of over 500,000 square yards of concrete. Also includes construction-management of earthwork, electrical / lighting, and striping work.

• Manage and prepare submittals/transmittals packages for progress reports, shop drawings, material data, product data, testing results, etc.

• Process owner correspondence documents such as letters, change orders, plan revisions, RFI’s, and permits.

• Maintain as-builts/redlines and other survey data.

• Perform profilograph / smoothness testing and prepare report summaries.

• Prepare QA/QC Daily Field Reports.

• Process and track payments for purchase orders.
