Description: The objective of this project is to analyze a composite Connecting rod which transfers reciprocating motion into rotary motion of crank shaft. In this work attempt is to be made for design and analyze in connecting rod with various materials. Presently connecting rods are manufactured using carbon Steel and in recent days aluminum alloys are finding its application in connecting rod. Composite connecting rod is possessed higher potential life. The design parameters are analyzed with the objective of minimizing the weight of composite connecting rod
