Description:
CorePT is the Tool which produces navigational data based to general aviation aircraft’s throughout the world. Almost 60% of the general aviation aircraft’s are getting data using this tool. Honeywell NavDB production group turns ARINC 424 formatted source data into FMS Formatted NavDBs. NavDBs produced every 28 days (1 cycle).
Responsibilities:
Designed and developed database packages, procedures, functions and triggers on Oracle databases.
Used bulk collection in PL/SQL objects for improving the performance.
Performed Data Modelling for schema design for the new tables using TOAD.
Created records, tables, collections (nested tables and arrays) for improving Query performance by reducing context switching.
Used Pragma Autonomous Transaction to commit the child transactions without affecting the parent transaction commit status.
Creating Stored Procedures to delete existing data from the tables before loading in Staging area.
